I live in Vancouver, Canada and got into wine a few years back. Though all kinds captivate my interest, I have a particular fondness for Australian wine. Somehow I got lucky enough to visit a bunch of wineries while on a couple of extended trips to Australia. After being fed my first ‘real’ good wine – Langmeil from the Barossa Valley – I’ve had a serious thing for the Aussie red and white.
This blog aims to chat about Australian wine, and create interest in the country’s wineries and wine industry. I know the Australian industry has been taking flak lately for various reasons, and I would love for people to really get into quality quaffs coming out of the country. You won’t see many actual wine reviews on this site, since there’s so many others that do a great job.
